Parcel Theft - Crime Prevention Advice

We would like to remind residents across East Acton Ward to remain vigilant against parcel theft, particularly as online shopping and home deliveries continue to increase.

To help protect your deliveries, please consider the following:

Arrange for parcels to be delivered to a trusted neighbour or family member.

Use a secure parcel locker, collection point, or click-and-collect service where available.

Specify a safe delivery location if your property has a suitable secure area.

Track your deliveries and, where possible, arrange for someone to be at home when a parcel is due to arrive.

Retrieve delivered parcels promptly and avoid leaving them unattended for extended periods.

Taking these simple precautions can significantly reduce the risk of becoming a victim of parcel theft. If you witness suspicious activity or have concerns about crime in your area, please report it to the police by calling 101 or reporting it online. For emergencies, please call 999 immediately.
